What is Tech Career Expo?

Tech Career Expo, produced by event company Engage Digital, is the premier job fair, showcasing the best tech jobs and career opportunities available. Tech Career Expo’s have been held in San Francisco and Austin, TX.  The Tech Career Expo takes place Saturday and Sunday, March 8-9, 2014 in Austin, Texas at the same time as SXSW.  We are not affiliated with Interactive Week, so no badge is required to attend.

Tech Career Expo provides an unmatched opportunity for employers and talented professionals from across the nation and around the world to meet and network in one central location. Positions range from development, design and engineering to management, marketing and sales.

Where is the Tech Career Expo?

The next Tech Career Expo takes place in Austin Texas at Fogo de Chao, across the street from the Austin Convention Center, on the corner of 3rd and Trinity St. The address is 309 E 3rd St  Austin, TX 78701.

Who is expected to attend?

Tech Career Expo attendees are the innovators, the technology vanguard and creative masters eager to engineer, program and design leading edge technology solutions. They crave new ideas and are pushing the envelope in their chosen fields. Attendees are those professionals driving themselves and the industry forward.

We expect most of the participants to be mid-level to senior-level professionals. Tech Career Expo gives you the opportunity to reach thousands of national and international technology professionals without ever leaving Austin.

Tech Career Expo will be marketed nationally as well as in the Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio markets so we expect to see technology professionals from these markets attend as well.

How many people are expected to attend?

We are expecting 3,000+ people – perhaps more – to attend Tech Career Expo.  Our 2013 Tech Career Expo saw 4,162 people pre-register for the event online on our web site.  More than 2,300 walked through the door at the event.  Of course there is no real way to know for sure, but we are taking optional pre-registrations on the Tech Career Expo web site.

Is this a first time event?

No. This is the 3rd annual Tech Career Expo in Austin during Interactive Week.

Will exhibitors receive a copy of the attendee list?

We are encouraging job seekers to visit the website to pre-register prior to the Expo. This is optional. This list of pre-registered attendees will be made available to exhibitors prior to the show. This will help attendees and employers connect prior to the event.
